I enjoy many kinds of photography. Though my favorite subjects are people, I like to photograph nature, rural and city scenes, and panoramas. I have also done commercial work photographing architecture, products, and food. Those genres present unique technical challenges especially for lighting and post processing. I have found that by studying and practicing other kinds of photography, the benefits and lessons learned often carry over into portraiture.
