Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh welcomed me for a late February business trip. While there I had a chance to roam the city and walk across some of its fantastic historic steel bridges. The Andy Warhol bridge took me right to the Andy Warhol Museum which prides itself on being the global keeper of Andy Warhol's legacy. The museum has seven floors of drawings, prints, paintings, sculpture, film and video, and lots of other stuff from Warhol’s life. Wow! If you love Warhol like I do, this place alone is worth a trip to Da Burgh. Unfortunately, they don't allow photography inside, but what I saw there inspired me to stretch a little with my own art. As you'll see below, I went a little crazy with post processing these iPhone shots. Is it art? I don't know, but Andy said "Art is what you can get away with" and that works for me. Visit the Artsy Andy Warhol page to see Warhol's bio, over 1660 of his works, exclusive articles, and up-to-date Warhol exhibition listings.
