The Maine Sea Coast Mission provides spiritual, health, and youth development programs in coastal and island communities from mid-coast to Downeast Maine. Rooted in a history of non-denominational service, the Mission offers hope, encouragement and help to strengthen individuals, families and communities.
This spring I had the pleasure of working with the Mission on two photography projects. One was to provide photographs for use in promoting the annual Sunbeam Awards Gala and the other to make portraits for the 2014 annual report. The large photo below is of board chair Patsy Fogarty, and below her are president Rev. Scott Planting and development director Kendra McCrate. I shot the rest of the photos aboard the Sunbeam while it was docked at its home port of Northeast Harbor. Special thanks to Anna Silver for assisting me with both photos shoots. Anna, I couldn't have done it without you!
